Loves Not Always Enough

Trying to see my life through these blurred eyes.
So many tears shed from countless tries.
Knocked back down again when I just wanted to rise.
I really didn't see this coming, boy what a surprise.
Too lost and confused to rationally think.
Trying to subside the pain of this with a drink.
Not trying to go crazy but I'm right on the brink
It really hard to stay tough, feeling this rough, told you I don't have that nice car, nice house, any of that stuff.
Just goes to show, that even true love, sometimes isn't even enough.

Good poem. I can relate to this very closely. You speak well for the many of us in the same boat.
