Loves Fragrance
The fragrance she wore in her hair
Jasmine in disheveled disarray
So I grew her fragrance one day
On my minds inner wall display
Catching her scent as if a wind
Followed me inside to make way
Running with open hair she knew
I held her in my mind’s eye view
Her perfume flowing everywhere
Awakening my senses like morning dew
I closed my eyes and there were you
I followed you through the corridors
Never stopping on any flow of my mind
Till you entered the chamber you started
out to find
And imprinted your fragrance in each corner
That became a bouquet inside my heart
And there your fragrance I carry till I depart!
