Love's Fools

You stand there like a mystery
Waiting to unfold
You have my eyes fixed on only you
The rest of life is on hold

I stare at you, you stay put
Pretending you don't notice me
But every now and then I'll catch
That smile you think I can't see

You only give me the least
& stay distant, its understandable
Any more we put in
Is just reaching for the impossible

I'm stuck in one place
I'm not going either direction
You refuse to move forward
But you still want my affection

Wanting what's desirable
Holding back because of rules
Dangling right in front of us
Once again, Love has played us for fools

OMG! Have you gotten that feeling where you don't know what to say? Well, I don't know what to feel. Wierd? I think so too. This poem is so meaningful because, poems are left for open translation for those to whom the poem is not written to or about. But for those to whom it applies, it hits hard. For good or for worse, and I dont know which category I fall in. Beautiful. Simply Beautiful.
