Love's Due

Amazingly great, not an obstacle in sight,
Your heart beats quickly, as though it's in flight.
One thing on my mind, the girl that I love,
A gracious gift One gave from above.
My feelings for her nothing can stop,
Almost anything I'd be willing to drop.
Nothing can busy my thoughts like this,
When awake, in dreams, when apart, I miss.
When she's not near, it's a dark gaping hole,
She inserts my heart, she has control.
A feeling of ecstasy all day long,
Something so powerful, amazingly strong.
But no words come close no matter how true,
To describe what I feel and give love its due.
