Love's Doubt

At the café over tea
When our eyes meet
The thought lingers
He loves me…
He loves me not?
Holding hands
On the beach
Mind ponders
He loves me…
He loves me not?
So many petals
have been shed
at this thought
He loves me…
He loves me not?
All things spoken
are just a blur,
this query prevents me
from falling in love.

Aha the problem I have wrestled with so often . Is it the butterflies of love I feel beating in my heart . Or the dark wings of a moth ? 3 Times I've uncovered the moth but i'll never stop trying to find the butterfly. The only way to find it is to let go. Enjoyed the poem,
