Love's Disappearing Photographs...

we used to lay

we used to get lost together

we used to kiss

in the stormiest of weather

staring at the stars

staring into your journey filled eyes

staring at your words

and now unsure if they were lies

sometimes you'd cry

sometimes we would both laugh

sometimes I thought

you would be my better half

love changes

love sometimes comes undone

love is a crazy thing

and now that its gone, I wish it had never begun

no more mystery

no more wondering about the other

no more lover smiles

as life's camera opens its shutter
