Love's Delight

I brushed her hand in movie light— Her fingers opened, clutching tight; My heart soared high ‘til end of show, I pulsed with joy, so long ago … I roused this dawn and touched that hand, Discerned its convex wedding band And, as blush sunbeams ended night, I warmed once more with love’s delight.
