Love's Cruel Tricks

A heart so tender left to its own demise

Only to be picked up by the devils creations

Tortured, angry, greedy and unkind souls

Play games, misleading and untrusting

The trickery, the unforgiving hurt and lies

The false love and the many temptations

Eventually making one want to fill their head with holes

The mixed emotions, uncontrollable lusting

Oh how it makes one call upon deaths grace

An amazing blanket of darkness and peace

To be taken from what they have labeled life

And reborn into a new dimension, alas

Saying goodbye to such a scummy, decrepit place

Temptation comes by and calls on to such sweet release

So to follow the call of the blade of the knife

Or possibly the blast of the gun, how exactly could one pass
