Love's Calling

We are told to love.
It's not a choice.
It's a gift from above
That has its own voice.

It will speak in the dark,
But only if you listen.
It speaks to the heart,
If you'd only pay attention!

But we live our lives
From day to day.
And while love barely survives
It's gets pushed away!
