Lovers' Prayer

Let us pray that we can see
  through the other's eyes to a degree

How he perceives, and what she feels
  instead of 'I'll,' consider 'We'll'

Pray for empathetic ears to hear
  the heart of speech, to draw us near

Pray that we on this agree
  two free wills may disagree
