Lovers on the pier, lovers on the pier...
It's what you can expect at this time of year.
When the sun is going down
The world forgets to frown.
Lovers on the pier.
Lovers kiss on cheeks, lovers kiss on cheeks.
It's what you want - expect -
That lovers kiss on cheeks...
Hey shouldn't that be lips?
Lovers before chips...
For they sell chips on the pier,
And the lovers dine...
The lovers dine and wine
Before they leave the pier,
Before they leave the pier.
