Lover's Holiday

Falling leaves swirl by
Squirrels peek through the pane

My companion's eyes caress me
Our serenade is rain

Fingers dance along my spine
Lips across my face

All is calm within our minds
Within our restful space

Laughter is our melody
A rhapsody of joy

Two hearts singing nature's song
All else we ignore

We dare to live a fantasy
Sharing passion's play

We sip the wine of happiness...
Lover's Holiday.

Such a romantic poem, Iger. You are a talented poet, my friend. I am glad to have found your voice. I will peruse more of your poems as time goes by, Lord willing. Love and more love to you and yours. RW (Romantic Warrior)
