Lovers
There is no distance too far
No task that is too hard
There is no height too great
No gulf that can separate
Each of us from the other
From our faith of being lovers
And there is no depth too low
No through that we can't go
There is no ocean too wide
No sea that can divide
Each of us from the other
From our hope of being lovers
There is nothing present too serious
Nothing to come too mysterious
There is no angel too clever
No sword that can sever
Each of us from the other
From our love of being lovers
And there is no power too strong
No persecution too long
There is no trial too swarth
And no other creature can part
Each of us from the other
From our joy of staying lovers
