Loved The Scare
By lamplight, she at night escapes
into her scary world of books.
There she can hide behind dark drapes
inside a mystery that hooks
and throws her right inside the plot.
Soon, ghastly scenes make her aware
her stable world, to leave, cannot.
She slams book closed- but loved the scare.
