This is so true; if you don't or can't love yourself then, you can't expect anyone else to; still many do. There's a huge difference between ego and loving self. Well penned, my fine-penning friend.

Lovely poem, my friend... the part "Nourishes our/ Humanly/ Angels" reminds me of the phrase "the angel of our better nature", and I dearly love the idea of this!
