Love You & Hope & Change

Hope!
Hope for what?

Change!
Change to what?

Change!
Change what?

Believe!
Believe exactly what?

Reform!
Reform what?

Reform!
Reform exactly into what?

Love!
Define Love.

Love!
Love what?

Love!
Love whom?

Love Humanity!
Humanity isn’t a person nor an animal.

Love Humanity!
Humanity is an abstraction.

Love humanity!
It’s easier to love humanity than a person.

Love humanity!
I’d rather love you!

that is good the way you ended this and showed us what you really meant. LIke when the beauty contestants stand up and say how they want to help humanity. All we really can do is love those around us and if all those in the world loved the ones around THEM, then everyone would experience the ripple effect of a loving world. Andrea

heh heh. Cool (free verse, would be my guess).I really like this, Miriam. In your face Philosophy shining through your poetry. Great job from a unique view. An intellectually induced love poem! I knew you had it in you. Im putting this one in my favorites if for nothing else but it's unique quality. Enjoyed...and thanks for your comments on my poems.God bless you-Robert
