Love Worth Living For
I have something to live for
Someone to care for
Someone who makes me feel alive
My life is back on track
Slowly getting better
Old wounds are being stitched up
One person
One thing
Makes everything better
My past is all but forgotten
Yet you don’t seem to care
The future is clearer
And more options are coming into the light
And the present
…oh the present
The beautiful never lasting days
Just spend in your embrace
The indescribable kisses
That tingle my soul
I never want it to stop
I never want you to go away
And I know… I just know
That, for now, I am free of harm
Because I have you too keep me safe.
