Love Without Fear

To love without fear,
This question has haunted
Me over the years.

Nothing is perfect, for
That we have tears, but
When hearts are not open,
They give in
To the darkness of fear.

The path to love,
The fragile steps,
Can only be taken
Without regrets.

To stumble is normal,
As precious is near,
When will I learn how
To love without fear?
