Love With a Dream

I fell in love with a dream.
She the light all but I got to see.
But me I fell in love with a dream.
Doling small portions yet never all of her free.
I fell in love with this dream.
Which was never nor ever to be.

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.

This is pretty - something like Poe would write.. like reaching out for something that you cannot quite grasp.. wonderful imagery.

I like the imagery imposed in this, the emotions of a love that will never be, I think alot could relate to this, a thought provolking poem, good work. Judy Riley
