Love Will Light Their Way

When you think that all is lost,
And there’s nothing more to say,
Look back upon the lines you crossed,
The ones from which you strayed.
Could you have said things differently,
Or been more loving and gentile?
For, it is not always what you say,
But how your words make others feel.
Once you have lost benevolence,
To others, you are soon known
As that selfish person across life’s fence
Who laughs and wins alone.
Life is not a game of chess,
With throw-away people to move.
It’s a roller coaster filled with stress,
Tracked by grace, respect, and love.
When you treat people with respect,
And you help them every day,
They all will come back to you,
And love will light their way.

It sounds sound. I hope people will get back to your advice. Some are still rough around the edges

Steven, It was kind and found in truth. And I found it to be just. -Richard
