Love Unconditional
It not about the quality of the little one
its about your team you've created.
It unconditional love which
is a feeling that's never dated.
That sense of security
just from the look in their eyes.
Its never feeling alone
or having to wear a disguise.
I raised my bully from baby
to man , my only child pure.
I lost him and my life was paused
My pain has never cured.
I carry with me memories
of a love that is rare.
Like encountering a romance
and knowing he's always there.
A bond where I was responsible
for a life of another.
And when that life comes to and end
Its hard to recover.
Do you take a chance again
daring to be hurt more
Nobody can replace the 1st
but second chances allow you to explore.
Next time I won't take for granted
the tiny things you might miss
The moments that bite your heart
You'll never again dismiss.
