Love Unanswered
The day is warm in bright sunshine
I sit with memories once were mine
had I wished this man was right
and even thought we 'd start a life
this man has gone we're unprepared
for all the anguish none compared
he left me alone and now I cry
as many others wonder why
what did he see that we had not
was it something that caused a lot
of pain and anger deep within
or just his knowing he couldn't win
now this man who I had loved
is in God's hands way up above
