Love Trap

As if it were the clouds,
gathering in the sky.
I know the storm's coming,
by the look in your eye.

No matter what happened,
solution is the same.
The problem is with me,
the one who needs to change.

Just like an old novel,
I've read too many times.
As the words are uttered,
I almost quote the lines.

Predictable you are.
I go through the motion.
Change what is asked of me,
and show my devotion.

This cycle that ensnares,
will continue to be.
Until it is revealed,
the problem isn't me.
