Love To Wash the Dishes
I love to wash the dishes
I do it everyday
Washing dirty dishes
Darlin it’s OK
It’s better than OK
I wash them all by hand
It’s always spontaneous
Never is it planned
Tend to wash the cutlery
Twice or even more
Always do this first
The greatest washing chore
Glasses and cups
Are second to make clean
To make them sparkle, with no stains
Drinking mugs pristine
Then I move onto bowls
Scrubbing all the plates
With the washing liquid
OH How it lubricates
Pots and pans are always last
To execute a clean
Scouring, rubbing, brushing
To only see them beam
There's always dirty dishes
I wash them everyday
I love to wash the dishes
And put them on display
On the drying rack
This work has come to end
For others to dirty them
To do it all again…
