Love To Hate

A love so true has withered away,
withered away today
She was all he thought of before,
until it all crashed to the floor.
A love that once burned
now nothing but ashes,
the moment she left his mind;
she left his mind today.

Time went past
he kept it far back
a secret he held-
held the past.
His secret snarled and clawed,
to reach surface.
She ran to take shelter
But inside boiled revenge.

For days she his to cry the tears,
for him she said.
A love for him she once had, that she did.
Days turned to weeks
weeks turned to months,
her heart ached for a break-
A break from him she did...

She told her loved ones
with a sadden hate,
She had to go before it's too late.
