Love To Be Owned

“Love is an emotion that anchors the forlorn heart adrift” – Quote by poet

Walking on lone path in grim wilderness
I follow in dream night silver moonbeam,
reach shimmering sea where cobalt dusts drip.
Embraced, I ride enthralled on dancing waves,
that’s where love's charming touch I feel allured.
Sunburst dawn paints on sky joyful fresco,
I see dew drops glow crowning my meadow,
that’s when I find the luster of love shine.
As bleak sky melts onyx clouds of dismay
my abode lies abandoned in flash flood.
Forlorn in the storm I lose me to stray,
drift to your heart to anchor, to be owned.
