Love Thy Neighbor
As often as they would talk she never did mention it
And so is with a shared walked they talked quit a bit
Neighbors now for six years they got along quiet well
She shed a whole lot of tears for that mans living hell
For often he had drank I guess it was nearly every day
The further down he sank the more for him she'd pray
With each year that past this man would not change
Thinking it was a blast as others thought him strange
But then one day as they always spoke he would inquire
Something inside had awoke and he felt a renewed desire
Early morning the next day he met her at her front door
Together they went to pray so many emotions at his core
It wasn't over yet there were still many battles ahead
But his heart now set his addiction didn't need to be fed
Once she got back in she knelt down at the Lord's Feet
With a little grin she said Oh Lord how You do complete
