Love Thunderstorm

I see the storm on the horizon,
The lightning behind the clouds,
The wind blows harder and harder
The thunders ferocious sounds,

The sunset begins to dwindle
The storm drapes the sky,
I become enamored by the flashing lights

I feel my skin get hit by the warm air
The rain begins to trickle around me
Everywhere,

I hear the thunder roaring,
Deep inside my heart
The Lightning electrifies my soul
It gives me a jump start

The storm is right above me,
I feel its full effect,
The rain kisses my lips,
My senses are fully erect

To me, a storm is like a powerful love,
A natural, reckoning force,
Of beauty, strength, and passion
That's got to run its course

People revel in the beauty of a dramatic
Storm,
Like people revel in a love and all of its forms

I want a love that resembles a storm,
The lightning is like the igniting of souls
Without all its components together,
It would not be whole
