Tying the knot
one becomes two
frayed we're not
pink intertwined with blue
don't let it slip away
the cut will run deep
dyed in array
with a natural sweep
a needle in a field of cotton
soft with a solid feel
laying on laps not sodden
overlapping the steel
painless though pricked
dropping blood of sanctity
throbbing hearts through conflict
clasping pins tangled in humanity
embroidered with souls touched
by everlasting design
I reach for decoration clutched
forever to twine

Angela I LOVE this write - absolutely riveting because of its uniqueness - well penned with this entwined embroidered romantic write. Hugs and blessings, Jennifer.
