Love Songs
They give me mixed emotion
They can make me smile
Or think about it for awhile
What does it really mean to have and to hold?
I wish I could just unfold
Into the life of another
Become close as ever
Overcome every endeavor
I want someone to kiss
Someone to miss
I want all of this and more
Someone to come up to me and open their door
No hidden feelings
No unsaid words
To just flock like two birds
I have a problem though
I never know how to say this
So it will always be her I miss
Never shall we kiss
Patience is a virtue
And I guess I can wait
But until then
I want to picture a perfect date
