Love Song
The lights sparkle with gold,
The night showers the scene.
We’re locked in an eternal hold,
A lovers spark so keen.
We twist and turn to the tune,
The crowd focused on the movement.
We’ll embark all too soon,
So we’ll make this time well spent.
This moment is celebrating our time,
This moment all about us.
The band singing another rhyme,
The night marks another truss.
My eyes sparkle and your eyes gleam,
Your dimpled cheeks ever glowing.
My most wonderful, fulfilling dream,
We continue our dance, forever knowing.
You leave me breathless as your dress sways,
You leave me stunned in your beauty.
Forever I will remain, in these days.
You dance so flawlessly, around me, through me.
I’m left in awe, as I’m captivated in your ways.
This is the night, I want to live again and again.
We’re captivated, motivated, dancing on cloud nine.
Ascending to the heavens,
I am yours and you are mine.
Lips locked, eyes shut tight.
World rocked, on this blissful night.
Your curly hair, flowing in the wind,
Your hand clasped tightly within mine.
Nothing haunting can rend,
As the lovers hearts intwine.
We run away, to a place of magic,
Nothing can stop us now, my love.
Nothing sorrowful or tragic,
Let us float beyond, let us float above.
