Love Someone Today

I perceive in my mind items undone and left to do In a hurry I search for more time In this fast paced world I live faster and faster I push myself from one item to the next while waiting in line my mind still racing slows down when I observe a chance encounter with a lovely lady soft spoken and a heart of gold the conversation begins light then turns heavy she opened up her heart of pain her husband of many years just passed she reminisced about the life they shared her eyes became heavy with tears I embraced her in her time of sorrow I hope I showed her love love someone today

I really love how this poem 'revs its motor' - you look forward to the next line and next...and finally slows with "I hope I showed her love...." Nice job!
