LOVE Of Our Life
Life’s journey swim links 2 defined moments - birth & death.
To survive its stretch we swim different strokes,
Delivered inner strength combats heavy tides & puncture pokes,
Hidden forces compatibly energize different folks,
Fortifying for encounters shallow seas & ocean depth evoke,
Each experience endows wisdom we soak,
Ingrained as we age & mature as sturdy oaks…
1 lesson soon learnt – LOVELESS life is as insipid as tasteless jokes,
akin to fisherman’s worthless cast & haul choked…
Obverse LOVE experienced tastes sooo profound!
Its bulls-eye target a life-beating mound,
Secured in chests pumping blood all around,
Profound in influence of heart-2-heart art,
To leave eyes moist & cheeks wet when sprung its dart,
Power to detach logic from emotionally-charged part,
Comforting, elating, intoxicating -
Such variety of power & effect it molds,
Addictive, a yearn for more soon takes hold,
Its warmth thaws the most freezing cold,
Taste triggers hunger & appetite more bold,
Once sold it loses value unlike gold,
LOVE’s awesome confusing enigma every poet aims to accurately unfold…
Accessible flavor to savor one way or another,
Channeled via life’s operandi from first touch of mother!
A trademark entrenched in natural, physical, umbilical,
Essential to balance spiritual;
Truly pleasurable God-given miracle,
Power production of inner joy,
Passive as child’s LOVE for favorite toy…
Filters out of many avenues,
Even simple, glorious, panoramic, or just scenic view…
Such enigma is infectious even if snubbed or ignored,
Zealously LOVE springs forth to drench one’s core!
If saturates it rolls one as debris from wave to shore,
So Lo & behold LOVE grandly affects!
1 encounter displays distinct effects!
Potent in range, strength, & ilk select,
BEWARE - just 1 drink intoxicates!
A favorite choice as Devil’s bait!
1 swig to blind Lovers & cloud all better judgment,
1 injection to fog infatuation as true LOVE’s represent,
As bemused identical twins one cannot tell,
Its gush so loud to deafen a warning bell,
Longing to souse compels this LOVE spell,
Made vulnerable to bad decision, painful repercussion, immoral confinement,
Now LOVE becomes a dangerous assignment!
As parents, its mother’s LOVE first naturally intensely embedded…
Deeply dedicated, passion unwavering, her baby fiercely tended,
Expanded swells in exquisite purity the Divine source of mum’s LOVE possesses,
Uninhibited He distributes vast resplendent treasures,
As does mum’s ardor via Divine spring gush forth,
His fervent LOVE bears signatures of sort,
Enshrined in Personalized springs - 99 in all,
- Attributes our Divine Owner to Himself extols,
Loving Exclusive Designer, Sole Creator of all souls & living kind,
Avails from birth to death; through storms & sunshine…
Omnipresent Knower He our soul-mate finds,
Hearts He then does duly bind,
Him we seek for LOVE, in pain, distress, desperate mind,
As all possibility, fulfillment, delivery, is by power of Divine…
LOVE boundless & beautiful embeds His sublime attribute,
His existence & magnificence manifest in quality so acute,
His LOVE to far outshine, exceed, supersede euphoric LOVE of mother,
Synchronic, supremely balanced, healing loving tether,
Such LOVE searched, found, felt for Divine makes us spiritually whole,
Ask Rumi! Godly LOVE was his life’s soul goal!
Our entirety held by Him whom we humbly turn with begging bowl,
Not just to clinch hopes, but fill voids, heal hurts, mend aching brokenness,
Fix wholesome shields; aid; guide; renew our sustenance,
Police our destiny to prevent fears rooting in future progeny's existence,
Infallibly His LOVING obliges our every tense…
Indebted to His ceaseless gratuity & Loving bounties,
His recurrent magnanimous generosity,
For prayers heard & desires fulfilled,
Soils of aims & intentions fertile & tilled,
Goals finally reached & senses gratified,
Comfortable in our space & totally satisfied,
Dreams seeing fruition; unknown needs yield unconditioned…
Incessantly lavish loving & giving by our Divine Creator,
Proves time & again He LOVEs us more than even our mother…
