Love Nest

LOVE NEST
It was small and compact (The realtor called it ‘bijou’) Too small for a family, But perfect for just two. We chose it together, hand-in-hand; Of all we had seen it was best. As soon as we walked through the door we knew This would be our own love nest. So tell me why, only twelve months on, Is last year’s nest for sale again. I little dreamt a year ago That I would suffer so much pain. Alas my true love is no more. She ran off with the realtor 28th November 2019 Last Year's Nest contest Sponsor - Craig Cornish
