Love Me Still
I am a broken heart, shattered and fragmented
A sinner, stained with the guilt of misdeeds
My soul is heavy with remorse and regret
But love me still, for I am in need
I have walked down dark paths, strayed from the light
And my conscience is heavy with the weight of my sins
But love me still, for I am not beyond redemption
My heart is open and ready to begin
I have hurt those who loved me, betrayed their trust
And caused pain that cannot be undone
But love me still, for I am human and flawed
I ask for forgiveness, though I know it can't be won
Love me still, when others turn away in disgust
For I am more than just my mistakes and flaws
I am a soul in need of love and compassion
And your forgiveness can heal all that's been lost
Love me still, when darkness threatens to consume me
Hold my hand and guide me towards the light
For your love is a beacon that shines bright in my darkness
And with you by my side, everything will be alright
So love me still, even though I am a sinner
For your love has the power to make me whole
And together we'll walk through this storm
With our hearts united and our souls on fire.
