Love Me Not
love me not
but let me be a human in your thoughts,
not an animal of some sort.
l don't have a car nor a degree,
neither do l own anything
but we breath from the same tree
and by the same grace we are made free.
love me not for my precious possessions,
nor my pleasing expressions
for those may fail
but thine spirit and mine shall remain
so thou needest not animosity
but a true and loving personality.
