Love Me In Your Eyes

Love me through your smiling eyes,
Where gleaming sparkles play and dance,
Furtive glances, tender and wise,
They knock on my heart, a sweet romance.

Love me through your sleepy eyes,
Two stars in the dark of my night,
Naughty and pure, their gaze belies,
Burning away my fears with gentle light.

There, your love is held, not concealed,
Though trapped within your gaze's sway,
Yet, when you cry, its truth is revealed,
Rainy days arrive, out of season, they say.
