Love May Come
I traveled far
A shallow youth
I climbed the hill
In search of truth
The old man sat
He laughed at me
And said that I search
But do not see
You looked so deep
Into my eyes
Past all my walls
Through my disguise
It scared me so
That you could see
Not what I appeared
But truly me
Now I’ve a choice
That I must make
To love or flee
To give or take
I take your hand
You take my heart
Might seem like the end
But it’s a start.
For love may come
And love my go
And where it leads
We never know
It lifts you high
It hits you low
But if you have love
Don’t let it go
