Love Lost

A memory cannot always be enough,
but a goodbye wouldn't help.
To look into the deep pools on your face
once more would be a shatter to my heart.
How to move on is no simple question
somehow, carefully, time mends the wound.
But it can only glue the broken pieces not restore.
Broken love is real as I now choose
to still love what is no more.
