Love Lockdown
I don’t understand what’s so hard
I try constantly to answer but I can’t let down my guard
Words at the tip of my tongue unable to flow freely
I want him to know how I feel
And I want him to know me
His constant effort to build our relationship and I deconstruct
I can’t even be truthful with men I have no luck
I guess it’s a cue to get to know me
Before I go out my way and try to make someone love me
