LOVE LINGERS
Love lingers in the mind, it always comes back to you my love.
You linger in my heart and mind, making it hard to move on.
Like a flavor that never leaves, I can feel and need you endlessly.
Endlessly playing like a song, our love hums along in this lifetime.
Like a story told in time, passed down, the love story continues on.
Stories of the times we danced till dawn, you looked so smashing with your suit on.
We danced and laughed till the sun arose, the birds watched and gave their hello.
Love lingers in the heart, it remembers the times we walked and enjoyed the sites of the earth.
Love you are forever lingering in my heart, my heart always finds its way to yours no matter how far.
