Love Like the Wind

I HAD LOVE BEAUTIFUL AND TRUE.
HOW IT DIED I HAVENT A CLUE.
IT ENDED LIKE A BREEZE.
THAT SELDOM DANCES IN THE TREES.
HIS LOVE WAS LIKE THE WIND.
IN TIME MY HEART IS JUST SUPPOSE TO GET OVER AND LEAVE BEHIND.
IT WAS THE SWEETEST THING I FELT.
HIS EVERY LOOK MADE MY HEART MELT.
I WAS AS HAPPY AS I COULD EVER BE
ONLY IT WASN’T REALLY MINE YOU SEE.
HOW CAN SOMEONE RUN HOT AND COLD
OR LIE ABOUT EVERYTHING HE EVER TOLD?
HOW CAN SOMEONE CHANGE HIS MIND SO FAST?
HOW DID I LOSE A LOVE I THOUGHT WOULD LAST
OR COULD IT BE
THE BIGGEST LIE EVER TOLD WAS WHEN HE SAID HE LOVED ME?
