Love Is Too Complicated
how do you know if you love someone? is what many people ask
but just explaining love is not a simple task.
before i start i'd like to say that love can never be defined
and being inlove with someone is beyond the psyche of the mind
i can only explain from experience and what i truly felt
and how i played the cards from the hand that i've been dealt
when you love someone there is a sparkle that glistens from your eyes
and your spirit pours out in every tear when you begin to cry
the tears will roll continously all through out the day
and no matter how many times you wipe those tears the never go away
your eyes begin to sting and burn from all the crying you have done
and then reality begins to set in when the pain has just begun
you can feel the screams from your inner soul begging to be released
and with all the pain there is also anger contained within your inner beast
frustration and betrayal become your motivating factors
pride takes control of the wheel and becomes a motivating actor
emotions rush like crushing waves against a strawman's house
and you eventually become a conditioned slave playing love at cat and mouse
so my definition of love i sincerely hope you do not grasp
and anyone who claims to have defined love...pulled it out a monkey's behind
