Love Is Strange
Love is the strangest thing I've come to know
It can make you feel warm or deep in the snow
For some it may come easy
Expressed extremely cheesy
But for some it comes where you'd never look
And that is when you can write a marvelous love book
It causes the greatest highs and lows in our life
One minute you're as high as a kite to stabbing yourself with a knife
The greatest pleasures cause the worst pain
And you'll wonder is there a way to stop the rain?
Love should be so simple and pure
But the insecurities make us not sure
It's hard to give something so fragile as your heart
And trust it won't be broken apart
A broken heart can change who you are
So you have to be careful and look past the stars
Love is blind and can't be controlled
And you'll resist advice whenever your told
Love is something we all seek
And each love is unique
I don't know much but that's what I've observed
You accept the love you think you deserve
