Love Is Smiling At Strangers

love is pulling a puppy into your lap
love is being beaten, and giving your opponent a clap
love is going to Christmas dinner even though you are tired
love is telling someone that they are whom you have always admired

love is sharing your car with your cousin who is not reliable
love is trusting a friend to color your hair that is barely dye-able.
love is allowing someone enough freedom to make their own way
love is feeling great in your heart at the end of each day

love is smiling at strangers, and giving a compliment to someone new
love is giving people a second chance, and sometimes more than one or two
love is expecting the best, and being enthusiastic about others
love is treating the world like your father, mother, sister and brothers

So true, Caren. Especially when you care so much about another person that you do something for them that you really wouldn't do for anyone else. I think.
