Love Is Our Weapon
Follow not the rage of the seas,
Forget the storms and devastation,
Set aside the heat or the freeze,
Because time is of the essence,
The heart of nature may be of violence,
But it's Soul is just. It's actions to balance.
We are not Her. We are still in stages of infancy.
Thus, do not let her be your guide to this reality,
We need to grow and learn through this fallacy,
Be of children that sees no disparity,
As our blood shows only equality,
Yet we are only comfortable in such calamity,
Such travesty,
Such parody.
Lies we construct for false shelter,
Stories of blame and useless words we blabber,
I am not proud of my sisters and brothers,
And I am also to blame.
Keeping quiet as our home is engulfed in flames.
Such gifts we have been offered,
Yet, our focus has shifted and views are blurred,
This violence is profit to the greed. Lost to the poor.
Where is the balance? Where is our honour?
All I is see is suffering. All I feel is anger.
But let it not consume you,
Let it not linger within like an awful odour,
Let our story be of lessons and truth,
Never again be of power and soldiers,
For it has made many of us colder,
While a few pockets get bolder.
We are young, inspiring to aspire,
Do not let your eyes fall to false beliefs,
We are only surviving before we expire,
Empathy is key while judgement is a thief,
So let us work bridging differences and bringing relief,
We need absolute change. Every resource for us to live.
I call you now to take a stand!
Change shall come and Now we must change their plan,
Let's start by walking hand in hand,
Show them that war is never an answer,
Show them that only with love, peace can conquer.
