Love Is Only a Moment
You rolled your eyes and turned your back
Together we stood, separately
You looked at me and said
There’s nothing you can do
Nothing you can say to take this pain away
I forgot how it felt to feel this way
Now you brought it back again
And this time it’s here to stay
you made me feel safe
Sheltered me from the bad
Took to my heart like Cupid’s arrow
And there you stayed
