Love Is Not Meant To Be

Love is not meant to be

Why is this love
Only confront of tears and yelling
Unlike most relationships
Where there is only smiles and kind words.

I stayed awake all night
Crying
Hoping the end for me
Was at the break of dawn.

Your voice booms
As my whimpers
Grow with fear,
My throat closes tight
As my realization
Of you losing me
Catches my attention.

Love has never made anything
Except scars and tears
Form and cut deep
Into my pale face.
