Love Is Not Always Pretty

Taking second base in New York City your love could not be pretty.
When it comes to synchronization it is just up to time and its location.
A professional gambler doesn’t always win its when he triumphs the game begins.
The endless element is not complementary when love escalates as in past centuries.
Cleopatra & Anthony, Romeo & Juliet, Marilyn & JFK are just loves that have gone astray.
As a quantum leap the power of love is not discrete it can end in just a heartbeat.
It curses though the veins when obstructed it is anemic and hard to drain.
Necessary to maintain a smooth motion love must move unlike a locomotion.

This shows personality because you gave new style to an old topic. I loved your wordings and comparisons, my interest was held throughout the poem. All the best ... CayCay
