Love Is Messy, If You Do It Right

Love Is Messy, If You Do It Right by Rick Rucker Some say the course of Love is true, And I'm saying this to you, Anything good, is worth fighting for The better the Love, all the more! I don't mean that you need to fight, Only that Love can light Your Life, with a warming glow, And you will ever know, That time spent to win her hand, Will make you honored throughout the land. If there are problems, or concerns, Clear them up before her Love burns Out, Smothered by seething doubt! Be always sure to wipe her tears, Calm her, if she has fears. In every way, be her friend, You will be rewarded, in the end! There might still be hurt feelings, But, in return for the healings That you give, you will receive so much more, Like a loving candy store! I am a guy, and can be wrong, But I've lived for very long. If Love has got you over a barrel, Ignore my advice, at your peril! Do whatever it might take, Be ready to, your pride, forsake, In the end, what is pride, Compared to Love's Wild Ride?
